Citizens who wish to participate in a meeting’s public comment period will be able to send their comments by submitting the EDA Public Comments form, or email Amy Peregoy at email@example.com. Comments must be received at least one hour in advance of the meeting – for example, comments will be accepted until 7:30 a.m. on days with a 8:30 a.m. meeting. The plan is to read these comments out loud during the public comment portion of the EDA meeting. The standard rules apply to public comments: the person must identify himself or herself by name and address, including zip code, limit his or her remarks to 5 minutes or less (read aloud), and address a topic of EDA business. Public comments will not be accepted on video feeds, including not being permitted on Facebook nor website broadcasts.
